Having participated and won twice, alongside mostly women teammates, I can confidently say it’s one of the most rewarding and empowering events of the conference. Whether you’re technical or not, Hackathon is for everyone, and I encourage more women to join in, collaborate, and have fun creating something impactful.

Before diving into the Hackathon, take time to reflect on your strengths—both technical and non-technical—and understand what you bring to the table. Build a team that balances skills with good energy, and don’t forget the logistics: register early, pick a fun team name, and clear your calendar.
