Breakfast, Bonding, and Wasabi-Green Dreams: The WomenNow Meetup at Knowledge 2025

WomenNow MeetUp Breakfast 2025

What happens when a powerhouse group of women in tech and their amazing allies get together before the sessions even begin? Magic. Laughter. And apparently… fun photos in front of Chipotle!

The annual WomenNow Breakfast at Knowledge 2025 brought a burst of energy to the early hours of the first day of conference. Dozens of us gathered in front of the still-unopened (but very photogenic) “Sourdough & Co.” located right next to Chipotle, because nothing says “let’s make memories” like a backdrop of sandwiches and salsa. For many of us, this moment marked the first time meeting long-time LinkedIn connections and Slack friends in real life. There were big hugs, surprised “Oh my gosh, it’s YOU!“, and a ton of happy reunions. And let’s be honest, we all needed a little caffeine and conversation before diving into the whirlwind of keynotes and sessions. We chatted about everything:

  • Career moves

  • Women supporting women

  • Imposter syndrome (and how we’re crushing it)

  • The importance of allies in this space

  • Work/life balance

This breakfast was more than just coffee and conversation. It was a moment to celebrate belonging. In a tech space that’s still growing toward equity, seeing this many brilliant women and supportive allies in one place felt incredibly powerful and beautiful!

And while the sandwich shop wasn’t open (we’re still waiting, Sourdough & Co.), the community was. Fully open. Fully present. And fully ready to change the game! Can’t wait to do it all again next year. Same time, same place. Maybe Sourdough & Co. will even be open by then (but probably not at 7am when we meet). Just look for the wasabi-green nails, the bold badges, and the unstoppable energy. We’ll be there!

Pro tip for next year: It’s just a short walk: go to the Venetian North Tower—head up the escalators and make your way to the food court in front of the Chipotle. PS: if you see the Burger Grill, you are in the wrong food court. You’ll spot us right by the (still-coming-soon?) sandwich shop. Good vibes guaranteed!
